JEFFREY, Alfred A. - 93, formerly of Louisdale, Cape Breton, died June 29, 1994, in Northwood Center, Halifax. Born in Louisdale, he was a son of the late Jeffrey and Georgina (Sampson) Jeffrey. He is survived by four sons, Thomas, William, Edmund, all of Halifax; Daniel, Louisdale; daughter, Elizabeth, West Arichat; two brothers, John, Edward, both of Louisdale; sister, Marie Carette, Halifax; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Eva Boudreau; two sons, Alfred, Willie; daughter, Elizabeth; three brothers, Leonard, Joseph, Francis; two sisters, Saraphine, Margaret. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight in Louisdale Church Hall. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Louis Church, Louisdale, Rev. Syd Mifflen officiating. Burial will be in Louisdale Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home.
