JEFFREY - 50th Wedding Anniversary
Congratulations to William and Anne (Campbell) Jeffrey of Halifax as they celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in Halifax at the St. Mary’s Basilica on September 10, 1960. Best wishes from their children, Paul (Darlene), Mike (Michelle), Cindy (Jamie) Donald (Lise) and grandchildren, Ashley, Kate, Mitchell, Brett, Taylor and Charley.

JEFFREY, William Joseph 'Willie' - Age 75, of Halifax, passed away
unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 11th, 2015. Born in 1939 in Louisdale,
Richmond Co., Willie lived most of his life in Halifax, where he worked for
55 years as a Stevedore and was a proud member of the International
Longshoreman's Association local 269. A devoted, husband, father and
grandfather, Willie enjoyed spending endless hours with his children and
grandchildren. He often focused his time and energy with the ones he loved
and could always be found in the local hockey rinks or sports fields quietly
enjoying the children's activities. An athlete in his own right, he was
active as an amateur boxer in his youth and enjoyed a good game of cards
through the years. Willie was the ultimate provider to his family, and those
who knew him recognized his ability to always be there for his family, no
matter what the circumstances. Well-known and highly respected in the
community, Willie will be deeply missed by all, but more importantly, will
always be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humour and his helpful
nature when it came to family and close friends. He was able to give so much
with what this life afforded him. Rest in Peace, Dad - you deserve it! He is
survived by his wife, Ann Patricia (Campbell) of 55 Years; son, Paul
(Darlene), Oakville, Ont.; Mike (Michele), Port William; Cindy (Jamie
Grant), Fall River; Donald (Lise), Halifax and proud grandfather to: Ashley
(Ian Murphy), Kate, Mitchell, Brett, Taylor and Charley. He is also survived
by siblings Danny, Tom and Elizabeth. He was predeceased by his father,
Alfred Joseph and mother, Eva May and brothers, Edmond and Alfred.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in
Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral service to be held
in St. Catherine of Siena Parish at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 18th, 1746
Bayers Rd., Halifax. Reception to Follow. Offers of condolences can be made
