JEFFREY, Alfred Joseph - 65, Louisdale, Richmond County, died February 13, 1994, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Louisdale, he was the son of Alfred Jeffrey, Northwood Manor, Halifax and the late Eva Mae (Boudreau) Jeffrey. He worked at the Halifax waterfront as a freightman for 25 years and retired from the Department of Transportation in October 1993. He is survived by his wife, the former Eileen Jean; two daughters, Darlene (Mrs. Jim Poirier), Dartmouth; Janasta Jeffrey, at home; son, David, Louisdale; sister, Elizabeth Anderson, West Arichat; four brothers, Danny, Louisdale; Edmund, Tommy, Willie, all of Halifax; three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth; brother, Willie. Visitation will be 2-10 p.m. today, 12:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Glen Samson Memorial Room in St. Louis Parish, Louisdale. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. Louis Church, Rev. Syd Mifflen officiating. Burial will follow in parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. Louis Parish. Arrangements under the direction of C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd., Arichat.
