Mrs Arthur Jeffrey, 2028 Elm Street, Halifax, died Tuesday in the Halifax
Infirmary. Born in Louisdale, Richmond County, she was the former Marie
Artimese Marchand, a daughter of the late Jeffrey and Elizabeth (Boudreau)
Marchand. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; a son, Clifford, Halifax;
a step-sister Annie Joyce, Louisdale; four grandchildren and a
great-grandchild. She was predeceased by three brothers, Albani, Henry and
Wilfred; a sister, Minnie; a step-sister, Meda Sampson. The body is in
Cruickshank's Funeral Home, Robie Street, Halifax. Funeral service will be
10 am today in St. Agnes Church, Msgr. Richard Murphy officiating, with
burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
