C. Arthur Jeffrey, 87, of 3162 Romans Avenue, Halifax, and formerly of Elm Street, died Monday at home. Born in Louisdale, Richmond County, he was a son of the late Peter and Jane (Landry) Jeffrey. He was retired from the Nova Scotia Power Corporation, where he worked all his life. Surviving are a son, L. Clifford, Halifax; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Artimise Marchand. The body is in Cruickshanks Funeral Home, Halifax. Funeral will be 10 am Thursday, in St. Agnes Church, Halifax, Fr. Ross Legere officiating, with burial in Gate of
Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
