Nancy A. Pevan, 78, of 501 S. Main St., Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
She was born Dec. 13, 1929, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Alfred and Margaret (MacPhail) Hub. She married Robert Pevan on April 15, 1950, in Chippewa Falls. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church. Nancy had worked for Mason Shoe Co. and Pevan Transfer, was a homemaker, belonged to Catholic Women's Club, and enjoyed traveling to South Padre Island and children.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Bob; one son, Bill (Kathy) Pevan of Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter, Mary Clark of Chippewa Falls; two sisters, Ruth Hub of Chippewa Falls and Jean (Jim) McClellan of Mesa, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren, Shawn and Melissa (Matt) Salisbury, Mike, Eric, Tom, Julia and Jean (Jared) Girard, Molly, Katie and Anthony; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Pevan, on Nov. 19, 1990; her parents; one brother, Kenneth Hub; and two boys in infancy.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Holy Ghost Church, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Jeremiah Cashman and the Rev. Arul Joseph will concelebrate the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, and until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. A rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
