Jacquette Tourault was born about 1617, the daughter of François Tourault and Marthe Noire or Noël. She is from Saint-Amand-de-Boixe (arrondissement and diocese of Angoulême), Angoumois or Saint-Jean-d'Angély, Saintonge. About 1640, Jacquette married Pierre Jarousseau in Périgny (arrondissement and diocese of La Rochelle), Aunis. Widowed, she came to Canada in 1653 with her daughter Suzanne Jarousseau, also a fille à marier.

On 21 July 1653, Jacquette married Jacques Prévirault (widower of Francoise Jacquette) in Québec City. She could not sign the marriage contract drawn up 15 June by notary Audouart, but it is not known if her husband could. Jacques is a native of La Madeleine in the marquisat of Ruffec (arrondissement and diocese of Angoulême), Angoumois. He and Jacquette did not have any children. Jacques died at Québec City some time before 25 August 1654.

On that day, Jacquette married Maurice Arrive in Beauport, though the marriage is recorded at Québec City. Maurice was born about 1601 in Saint-Denis-la-Chevasse or Saligny (arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon, canton of Poiré-sur-Vie, diocese of Luçon). Poitou, the son of Lucas Arrivé and Marguerite Margaut or Magode. He was confirmed 02 February 1660 at Château-Richer. Maurice and Jacquette did not have any children together. In the 1667 census, they could be found on the Île d'Orléans, where Maurice was a mason and the farmer of Madame d'Ailleboust (Barbe de Boulogne).

Jacquette Tourault was buried 21 April 1670 at Sainte-Famille, Île d'Orléans. On 02 June 1670, Maurice married Fille du Roi Francoise Pednel or Pedenelle, with whom he had six children. Maurice Arrivé died 26
August 1687 and was buried the next day at Saint-Francois. Île d'Orléans.
