Martel, Jean Baptiste , coaster, native of Quebec, aged 42 years.  Married to Marie Poujet, native of Port Royal, aged 45 years. They have three sons and two daughters:  Charles, 18 years; Joseph, aged 16 years; Baptiste, aged 13 years; Epotille, aged 8 years.  They have 4 oxen, 8 cows, 1 horse, 11 fowls, 3 ducks, 6 geese and 1 gander.  The land for his dwelling place was sold to him by Jean Clement.  He did not know the extent, nor that of a meadow from which he carries his hay for wintering his livestock. They have been granted rations for two years.
