Jean-Baptiste and Ann lived in L'Ardoise where L'abbe Baily blessed their marriage Oct.3 1771. Soon after they moved to Petit-de-Grat, Jean-Baptiste became a share cropper in 1811. The Martels of Petit-de Grat are decendents of Jean-Baptiste.
