BOUDREAU-JEFFREY, Mary Lena - 81 - Arichat (formerly of West Arichat)
We regret to announce her death on April 8, 2013 at St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre, Arichat. Born in West Arichat, Lena was a daughter of the late Joseph and Carita (LeBlanc) Fougere.
She is survived by children, Henry (Geevee), Janvrin’s Island; Donald, St. Mary’s; Muriel, Yarmouth; Elizabeth, Port Hawkesbury; Richard (Arlene), Arichat; Victor (Mary), Cheticamp; Norman (Denise), Boudreauville; sisters Stella, Louisdale and Laura (Arthur), Bedford; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Lena was predeceased by first husband, Alexander Boudreau, second husband, Norman Jeffery, a daughter in infancy, five sisters, three brothers, a son-in-law and a granddaughter.
Visitation will take place today at IML Funeral Home, Petit De Grat from 2-8pm. Funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held at 2pm on Thursday, April 11th at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, West Arichat with Rev. MacDougall officiating. Cremation to follow.
