First Cousin of Laurence of St. Peter’s. Emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1799. Based on that, he would have to be the son of either Morris Jr. or Edward, sons of Morris Kavanagh, father of that Laurence.

Cousin to Moses “Mogue” Doyle. Employed by Laurence II in St. Peter’s as a bookkeeper.

Obtained land in 1806 in Arichat. In 1811 he was living on Plum Island, River Inhabitants Basin.

Received a land grant, dated July 18, 1813 at Mullen River (Grandigue Ferry) and had taken an oath of loyalty. He had a commission as a lieutenant in the militia.

Operated the ferry between Grandigue and Isle Madame.
