Nasario Reyes Came to Flagstaff in 1915
Funeral services for Nasario Reyes, who died Wednesday (Dec 29) at the Flagstaff Community Hospital will be today at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadelupe Church.
Reyes was born June 8, 1894 in Paracho, Mexico, and came to Flagstaff in 1915. He worked for Arizona Lumber and Timber Company and retired from Southwest Lumber Company in 1959. e was a member of Woodmen of the World.
He is survived by his wife, Maria, four sons, Bernadino and Ralph, both of Flagstaff; John, of Hungington, Calif.; Eddie, of Phoenix; and six daughters, Angie Barela, Polly Holmes and Delores Barela of Flagstaff, Ignacia Garcia of Southgate, Calif., Delfina Gutierrez of Glendale; and Josie Olmos of Tucson, and by 32 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are David Moreno, Frank Moreno, Ralph Reyes, Bob Reyes, Tony Gutierrez, and Fred Gutierrez, Honorary pallbearers are Able Moreno, Jimmy Moreno, Paul Gutierrez, Eddie Olmos, Arthur Olmos, and Larry Barela.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mexican town Paracho de Verduzco, about 120 miles SE of Guadalajara.
