WILFRED PIVIN, 86, of 551 Apt. A N.E. 57 Court, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., an employee for the former Collins & Aikman in Bristol for 20 years retiring in 1970, died Friday at the Westside Regional Medical Center, Plantation, Fla. He was the husband of Louise C. (Salcone) Pivin.

Born in Fall River, Mass., a son of the late Maxine and Leona (Houle) Pivin, he lived in Bristol until moving to Fort Lauderdale 23 years ago.

Mr. Pivin previously worked for Klystone Rubber Co. in Warren, and was a communicant of St. Clement's Church in Fort Lauderdale.

Besides his wife he leaves two sisters, Eva Allord and Simone Bergeron, both in Canada. He was the stepfather of the late Joseph Martino.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, State Street, Bristol. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Bristol.
