Not a certain and documented connection to Touissaint SAMSON.

Genealogists have been able to trace our Samson/Sampson line back to
Toussaint Samson of St. Gatien des Bois, Normandy, France. A few years ago, a cousin
of mine from Isle Madame visited the church of St. Gatien, and made some
assumptions as to the ancestors of Toussaint (which was all undocumented). He
shared his information with Family Tree Maker, which then put it on a cd, and now
it is all over the web. Many people still show that Toussaint was a son of
Paul Samson. THIS HAS NOT BEEN PROVEN. If anyone in the group currently shows
Paul as the father of Toussaint, please make a correction.
