POIRIERVILLE — Louise Jane Poirier, 75, of Poirierville died Wednesday in St. Martha’s Hospital. Born in Poirierville, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Poirier) Bonin. She is survived by a daughter Kathleen (Mrs. Tony Benoit), Pomquet; five sisters, Lena (Mrs. Michael Pouchlu) and Viola (Mrs. Malcolm Poirier), both of Sydney; Alma (Mrs. Paschal Landry), Poirierville; Lily (Mrs. Wilfred Landry), D’Escousse; Cecile (Mrs. Rupert Sievert), Dartmouth; two brothers, Hubert, Halifax; John, Terrence Bay, and two granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband Docitee and two sisters, Eva and Marceline. The body will be waked in D’Escousse, where the funeral mass will be held in St. Hyacinthe Church today at 10 a.m., with burial in the parish cemetery.
