A Fatal Fall
Herman Pevin, aged two years and six months, son of Paul Pevin Fell out of a third-story window at his father’s home on Thames Street, between State and John streets, about 8 o’clock Saturday morning and in his descent struck the balustrade of the steps leading to the second story and then bounded off to the ground below. The chold’s mother and some of the neighbors hastened to pick up the senseless little body and carry it into the house. Dr Merriman was called and found the child suffering from concussion of the brain. He died about 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon, without regaining consciousness. The funeral was held yesterday.
