JEFFREY, Mary Laura - 85, died January 16, 2005, in Strait Richmond Hospital. Born in West Arichat, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Forgeron) Rogers. She is survived by daughters, Shirley (Ralph) Saulnier, Hectanooga; Merie (Keith) Harrington, Halifax; Tina (Tim) MacPherson, Dartmouth; sons, Douglas (Linda), Halifax; Raymond (Leah), Halifax; Robert (Brenda), Louisdale; sisters, Anita Doiron, West Arichat; Rose Briand, Halifax; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Jeffrey; brothers, Raymond, Leonard and Leo.

Visitation for the late Laura will be from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. today in the Glen Sampson Room, Louisdale. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisdale, Rev. Gary MacPherson officiating. Cremation to follow. Burial at a later date. Donations may be made to the St. Anne's Nursing Care Centre, Arichat or Strait Richmond Palliative Care Unit,
