Hello Mr. Pivin.  My name is Regina (Roybal) Fletcher.  I have been working on genealogy for over twenty  years.   My Great Grandfather was Apolonio Roybal.  He was Bersabella’s brother.  
 I met Lupita Reyes, my dad’s cousin, by chance.  My family and I were passing through Flagstaff as we always do on our trips between California and New Mexico.  I man at the Flagstaff Visitors center approached me saying that I looked familiar.  We chatted a little and he tells me that he knew my family.  We thought this man was pulling a fast one on us but when he said their names we were stunned to say the least.  It was absolutely incredible.
The man helped facilitate a meeting with Lupita.  I was so overjoyed to meet someone from my father’s family.  My father passed away in 1996.  Why he and I never discussed family history is a mystery.  All I have are photos.
 It was nice to meet Lupita.  She helped me tremendously piece together some of the Roybal history.  I am glad to know now who the little baby is that my Great Grandfather Santana is holding in the photos.  I wish we could have visited more.
 I hope that we can all meet or correspond.  I called Lupita to wish her a belated birthday.  She says she had a lovely time. I’m glad to be able to keep in touch.
