SAMPSON, Mary Evelyn — 78, St. Peters, Richmond County, formerly of Poulamon, died Saturday in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Poulamon, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Josephine (Marchand) Fougere. She is survived by two sisters, Theresa (Mrs. James Landry), Sydney: Anita (Mrs. Velma Poirier), Poirierville. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Raymond; a brother, Gerald. The body is in St. Hyacinthe Church in D’Escousse, where funeral will be held 3:15 p.m. today, Rev. J.J. MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
