Hélène Desportes, goddaughter of Hélène Boullé, married in 1634 Guillaume Hébert. In her marriage contract in front of the notary Piraube, December 27, 1639, she declares to bring to the community the "enjoyment of a house near Notre-Dame-de-Recouvrance church (Provost, 1954, p.13). This donation of Samuel Champlain will be formalized on September 4, 1640 in the concession to Noel Morin for his wife. (Niellon et al., Document 6). A little later, the Fabrique is interested in this building to house a presbytery, but this project will never happen (Provost, 1954, 14). A little earlier, on September 9, 1648, the Québec City Council asked for an estimate of Noël Morin's house by Michel Leneuf and Jean Guyon. Martin Boutet, a man of confidence of the Fabrique, He wanted to maintain it and bore this house to Anne Gasnier on September 24, 1649 (Niellon et al., 1990, Document 13). In this text we also identify a garden place probably in front of the church Notre-Dame de Recouvrance. A little later, on April 28, 1653, Boutet will rent this house to Jean Boudon for four months, until August 31 (Gauthier-Larouche, 2014: 106). Finally, on May 15, 1650, the Compagnie des cent-Associés concedes a site to Martin Boutet. On this site were two houses, one in wood, formerly the property of Noel Morin and Hélène Desportes and another in masonry having been built by Boutet in 1649 (Provost, 1954, p.20). The house of Hélène Desportes can be located approximately corner Sainte-Anne and rue du Trésor.
