I'm re-sending this request from a couple of months ago, wondering if
anyone has any ideas:

I'm looking for information on my great grandfather: Stephen Anthony
Petitpas, born 1866 in D'Escousse. He was the 4th child, listed below.
His family moved to Boston, Massachussetts, probably sometime between
1880-1890. At some point he or his family changed their last name from
Petitpas to Pitts. He married my great grandmother, Elizabeth Callander
in Boston, and they had six children, and he worked as a fisherman. They
separated in approximately 1902 and we don't know his whereabouts after
that. If anyone had access to any information, such as his death record,
or anything else, we would greatly appreciate it.

From Judy Hoffman, 11/12/17 on FB - David, You're one of Mom and my top matches on FTDNA. Her mother, Edith Pitts, was born in RI in 1895. Nana's grandparents were Etienne Petitpas and Marie Kavanagh, from D'Escousse. They moved to RI, then Boston area with my Ggrandfather, Steve Petitpas (changed to Pitts) and his siblings, and Marie's mother, Euphemie Kavanagh (b. Bonin). I love looking at these pictures!
