Two Pierre Birons lived in New France during the same period. The other Biron was younger than our ancestor by about 40 years. He was the son of Jean Biron, a laborer, and of Marie Ribotteau. This second Pierre was born at Paillé in Saintonge around 1665. On 2 November 1686, he married Jeanne Du mouchel at Trois-Rivieres; a little after that, this couple settled in Montréal where Pierre worked at his trade as a master
baker and vendor of wheat and wine, and even brandy. These Birons had nine children, of whom six were sons. 'lXvoof them
had other surnames: Jacques, that of Augé, and Jean-Baptiste, that of Fresniere. Pierre Biron number two had many descend ents.
