JEFFREY, Rose Marie - 84, of Arichat, and formerly of Louisdale, passed
away in St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre, Arichat, on December 30,
2010, with her loving family by her side. Born in West Arichat, she was a
daughter of the late Joseph and Carita (LeBlanc) Fougere. She was a
member of the St. Louis C.W.L., and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150 ,
Archat Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her companion of 35 years,
Paul Poirier, Arichat; daughters, Lorraine Boudreau (Ronnie), Joan Samson
(Felix), Rosanne Jeffrey; sons, Conrad (Ann) and Andrew, all of Louisdale;
14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Fougere, Ontario;
sisters, Lena Jeffrey, Arichat; Stella Paupin (companion Freeman Skinner),
Louisdale; Laura Fleckney, Bedford; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Jeffrey,
West Arichat. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Peter; sisters,
Eva Meunier, Florence Sheppard, Rita White; brothers, Charlie, Norman and
Andrew. Visitation will be held in the Glen Sampson Room, Louisdale on
Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on
Monday morning at 11 a.m. in St. Louis Church, with Rev. Angus MacDougall
officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Louis Cemetery,
Louisdale. Memorial donations can be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada,
Nova Scotia branch, or a charity of choice. Funeral Arrangements are
