Ida Florence Exley, my Grandmother was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and Daughters of the Confederacy. She married Granddaddy Thomas Maxwell on April 18,1906 at the Lutheran Church of Assent in Savannah. Her mother was Emma Naomi Grovenstein (1852-1930). Her father was Marquis Lafayette Exley (1845-1918). Elizabeth Margaret Marllette was her Grandmother whose father Gideon Marlette was a Reveloutionary solider.
