KEHOE, Ulysse Arthur - 79, Abing­ton, Mass., died Thursday, August 23, 2012, after a brief illness. Born in Rocky Bay, he was a son of the late James and Artemis (Cavanaugh) Ke­hoe. He resided in Massachusetts for almost 60 years. Prior to retirement, he was an Operating Engineer with Local 4 IUOE for over 40 years. Ulysse enjoyed fishing, taking care of ani­mals and above all, spending time with his family. He was a devoted and lov­ing husband to his late wife, Arolina, for 52 years. Surviving are daughters, Janine (Richard) Mills, United King­dom; Lorraine (David) Wood, Hanov­er, Mass.; grandson, James Wood; sis­ter, Alice C. Rose, Oregon; brother, Daniel, Massachusetts; sisters-in-law, Janet (Clifford) MacKenzie, Pleasant Valley; Marlene Smith Teague, Broad­way; many nieces and nephews. Be­sides his parents, he was predeceased his wife, Arolina Catherine (Smith) in 2011; sister, Mary; brothers, John, Wil­liam, Howard, Bernard and Junior. A graveside service for Ulysse and Aro­lina will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 30, in Kenzieville Cemetery, Kenzieville with Rev. Dr. J. Kenneth MacLeod presiding.   They lived in Rocky Bay, from March, 1942 to March, 1945. My mother was there to care for her invalid Mother, Annie Kehoe.

  They returned to the United States when son, Edwin (we called him Junie) had a problem walking on his left leg. He was brought to Children's Hospital in Boston, and the very next day his left leg was amputated to the hip (he was 6 at the time). June lived until January 27, 1947, and is buried beside my Mother in the cemetery in D'Escousse. I believe the name of the church is St.Hyacinth's.

  Huband Edwin Lawry Perry, died on June 1, 1964. She returned to the farm in Rocky Bay until her death in June of 1979.


iv.     Eliza Eva Kehoe was born on Aug 30, 1898 in Poirierville, Richmond Co., NS, Canada. She died in Jan 1981. She married Francis 'Duncan' MacDonald on Aug 21, 1916 in D'Escousse, Richmond Co., NS, Canada. He was born in Port Morien, Cape Breton Co., NS, Canada.
