PIERRE(GUILLAUME)FORCIER was born December 1648, St-Aubin, v., ar. et ev. Nantes, Bretagne (Loire-Atlantique), France, and died May 18, 1690 in St. Francois Lac, Yamaska, Quebec. Pierre sailed to Quebec abt. 1660. Was confirmed at Ile D'Orleans in 1669. He was killed by the Iroquis at the battle of Lachine May, 1690. He married (1) MARIE VICTOIRE CHAMOIS October 26, 1670 in St-Francois-du Lac, d'Yamaska, Quebec, CANADA. She was born 08 Jan 1655 in St. Gervais, Paris, Ile-de-France, and died 18 Mar 1709 in Paris, Ile-de-France. He married (2) MARQUERITE GIRARD 1674 in Sorel, Quebec, New France. She was born before 1652 in Bourgogne, France, and died August 07, 1695 in in Hotel-Dieu, Quebec, Quebec, Canada. Marquerite was the daughter of NICHOLAS GIRARD and FRANCOISE HUON. Pierre and Marquerite farmed land in Saint-Francois-du-Lac, Quebec. Lachine (where Pierre died) was a community-9 miles from Ville Marie on the island of Montreal. The Massacre of Lachine occurred on Aug. 5, 1689.
