The Will of Alfred Poirier:

I, Alfred Poirier of Lower D'Escousse in the County of Richmond and Dominion
of Canada, Master Mariner, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do
this twelfth day of January in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and ninety three make this my last will and testament in ..following:

1st I bequesth to Virginia Poirier my beloved wife the one third part of the
schooner Proditor with all the profits and emoluments arising therefrom also
the proceeds of my life Policy in the Massachusetts Benefit Association
subject to the bequest in the second clause herein also all the real estate
of which I may die possessed for the use of my said beloved wife Virginia
Poirier and my three children namely Amadie, Alphonse and Sophia Jane to
their use benefit and behoof forever.

2nd I give and bequeath to my father Désiré Poirier one third part of the
said schooner Praditor with all the profits and emoluments arising therefrom.
Also the sum of five hundred and fifty dollars from the proceeds of my life
policy mentioned in the first clause whereof.

3rd I give and bequeath to my brother Arthur the remaining one third part of
the Schooner Proditor, with all the profits and emoluments arising therefrom,
To Have and to Hold the S--- to the said Arthur Poirier his heirs and assigns
forever.

4th In the event of my said beloved wife changing her present name, that is
marrying again,I will and bequeath that all my bequests mentioned in the
first clause hereof be wholly and entirely for the benefit of my said three
children Amadie, Alphonse and Sophia Jane share and share alike for their use
benefit and behoof forever.

5th I hereby nominate, constitute ans appoint the said Désiré Poirier my
father, and Edward McDonald of D'Escousse my executors of this my last will
and testament and revoke any or all wills --------- made by me and declare
this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto
subscribed my name and affixed my seal this day and year first above written.
