38) Pierre Poirier, son of Charles Poirier and Marguerite Vigneau, born about 1760, probably married Nathalie, (Anastasie) Bonin, daughter of François Bonin and Marguerite Josse. Pierre and Anastasie settled in the part of the parish that is actually D'Escousse, and now known as Poirierville. Pierre died about 1806, according to a petition dated 1808, in which Anastasie is described as a widow of two years and mother of a family of ten children.
